3. Tournament data management

In the absence of a user account, tournament data is stored exclusively in your browser’s local cache. No tournament data is stored on our servers without first creating a user account. You can create a free user account to save up to three tournaments on our servers by going to the “My account” page.

Data storage without a user account:

  • Tournament data is stored locally in your browser’s cache. How long this data is stored depends on your device and browser settings. Any deletion of the cache, reset or modification of the browser may result in loss of data.
  • You can delete tournament data at any time by clicking on “New tournament” or by clearing your browser’s cache.
  • Data stored locally in your browser cannot be shared publicly.

Data storage with user account :

  • Tournament data is stored on our servers, with a limit of three tournaments per user account. This data can be accessed from any browser, provided you log in to your account.
  • You can delete your tournaments with one click from the tournament list or by accessing the “My data” section of your user account.
  • LaRondeSuisse.com does not share any tournament data without your explicit consent. If you choose to share a tournament, you can make it accessible via a secure link. It is your responsibility to ensure that participants have given their consent to this sharing. You may revoke the sharing at any time. Please note that sharing a tournament only allows you to view its progress, and does not allow you to modify any data.

4. Support chat data storage

4.1 Message retention

Chat messages are stored on our servers for a maximum of three months. After this period, they are automatically deleted.

4.2 Unique message identifier

When you send your first message in the chat, a unique random identifier is generated and stored in your browser’s local storage. This identifier is transferred with your chat messages and enables us to reply to you if you do not yet have an account. If you are logged in to your account, this unique identifier is not created. Retention of this identifier depends on the browser used. On iphone, it can be deleted after one week. You can delete this identifier at any time by clearing your browser’s cache.

4.3 Message history in your browser

The message history is stored locally in your browser, up to a maximum of 50 messages. To delete this history, you can clear your browser’s cache.

We do not share or use chat data for commercial or advertising purposes. The sole purpose of the chat is to provide you with the assistance you require.

If you have any questions about your data, please do not hesitate to contact us.
